We are ReadyLucas! A group formed at the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department to help our community become prepared in case of an emergency. Emergency preparedness is an important aspect in everyday life; you should ALWAYS be prepared. Unfortunately, some do not know how to properly prepare themselves for an emergency situation, such as severe weather, a tornado, or a fire, but luckily, we’re here to help! In this blog, you will find all types of information about how to prepare you and your family if an emergency situation should arise. We will post things such as checklists, how to make a “go-kit”, how to build a 72-hour kit, how to make a family emergency plan, important information about different types of emergencies, and so much more.
